The Vanquish VQ60 reads as a sport-yacht before it reads as anything else: low sheer line, an aluminium hull built for speed rather than volume, and twin engines that bring her to a cruising pace around 45 knots. At 18.3 metres she carries her size with restraint — no towering superstructure, just a flat, purposeful deck meant to be used rather than admired from a distance.

That speed changes what a day on the water can include. A run out from Porto Cervo toward the Maddalena Archipelago, where the anchor fields sit close to shore and the water shallows into pale green, takes a fraction of the time it would on a slower motor yacht — leaving more of the day for swimming stops and coastal exploring rather than transit. Her two cabins are set up for short stays or a change of guests between legs, not for treating her as a live-aboard over several nights.

She suits groups who want pace and manoeuvrability more than deck parties: up to 12 guests, couples wanting a fast private outing, or a small corporate group booking a half-day run along the Costa Smeralda coast. Because she moves quickly between anchorages, route planning matters — particularly on afternoons when the Maestrale picks up in the strait — and booking her through someone who can time the crossing and the stops accordingly gets more out of the day than treating her as a fixed point-to-point transfer.
